Full cockpit enclosure, includes the dodger, bimini, rear windows, side windows, mid connector top, and mid connector windows. This is everything you need to fully enclose the cockpit. The boat can still be sailed if you remove the mid connector (to attach main sheet) and mid connector windows. Specify if you have BWY stern rail seats. This is designed to go around the seats and to attach to the seats. If you do not have seats the back corner will be droopy. Colors other than black are available, see www.sunbrella.com.

2 Reef Points / 5.0 High Modulus Dacron / 5 Full Battens / Loose Foot / Ropeless Foot and Luff / "M" Logo
High performance sails taking advantage of 26M backstayless design. Flat top for more power and 5 full battens for better shape. This is a loose foot sail, meaning that the shape is carried all the way to the boom. The foot of the sail does not have a bolt rope to be inserted into the boom. The luff of the sail, where the sail slides are attached, also does not have bolt rope, this provides better sail shape well into the life of the sail.

These high performance Macgregor 26M rudder blades feature an improved airfoil design that improves the boat's handling while under sail as well as when maneuvering. Improvements include reduced helm effort, better pointing, improved tacking in light air and improved downwind speed. This pricing is for a rudder pair. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL HDPE BLADES CAN TAKE 6-8 WEEKS TO HAVE MADE Or longer due to supply issues

Now available again, CDI is under new ownership and back in production. This is the complete roller furling system for all MacGregor models. You will also need the deck hardware to lead the control line to the cockpit and a headstay compatible with the furler. We can provide you with both. Your headstay must have a standard turnbuckle at the bottom and a swaged threaded stud on the bottom end of the wire, not a loop. The luff is not returnable.
The ball bearing upgrade does reduce friction when furling the sail, but also adds some maintenance, while the standard bearing is maintenance free.

Shipping expense will be higher than what's quoted by the website and we will contact you with this amount prior to shipping. May ship motor freight to some destinations. Expect about $400 in shipping in the US. Lead time 4-6 weeks.

The standard daggerboard is painted with a satin-finish rolled on grey barrier coat. This acts as a primer for anti-fouling bottom paint, the epoxy finish can be left bare or is ready for anti fouling bottom paint if you moor your boat in the water.
This daggerboard is also available with a white gelcoated and polished finish instead of the grey barrier coat. The smoother board is more performance oriented and does not need any additional preparation or painting, it arrives ready to go. Does not include the lines.
This item uses $79 flat rate shipping, shown at checkout for domestic shipments. If this is shipping international it will probably not show the correct rate and we will have to contact you with the shipping amount after the order is placed. Canada is usually about $138, other countries will usually be higher than that.

Stainless Stern Rail Seats designed by BWY to fit on the 26M. Does not fit any other boat. This extends the cockpit seating area. Recommended to use at dock, or while sailing at low speeds. Do not sit in while the boat is motoring at high speeds. Nice place to add a BBQ mount on one of the rails, or a cup holder. These are sold as a pair with all installation hardware included.

Roller Furling / 5.0 Dacron / White Sunbrella UV cover
We now have the first batch of these BWY exclusive sails in stock from our new supplier, they are even nicer than before and have more features. BETTER YET WE ARE HOLDING THE OLD PRICE AS AN INTRODUCTORY SPECIAL!!
This is a 150% Genoa, the only size sail bigger than a standard jib that works properly on the MacGregor 26. We do not sell or recommend in-between sails such as a 125% or 130% Genoa. This sail is a substantial upgrade from the standard factory sail, it is made for more rugged use and longer life, with reinforced corner rings, heavier corner and reef patches, and double stitching.
This sail includes a built in white UV cover for added convenience on boats that are permanently or frequently moored in the water. We now use the new lightweight White Sunbrella Cloth fabric for the cover, this material provides the best UV protection available but adds about half as much weigh to the sail as traditional covers. This new lightweight acrylic cover also has much less effect on sail shape over time. If you mostly trailer your boat we recommend you purchase the version of this sail that comes without a UV cover and use our pull up sock type cover which provides both UV protection while moored and protection from dirt and abrasion while trailering, this gives you the best protection and the best sailing performance. For maximum sail life a sock type cover is recommended over any sail even if it has a built in UV cover in areas with lots of sun or if the boat is moored for long periods between use.
This is a BWY Exclusive sail, and is typically in our inventory and available to ship.

1 Reef Point / 5.0 High Modulus Dacron / Standard Battens / Loose Foot / Ropeless Foot and Luff / "M" Logo
This sail is a very popular option, and a huge upgrade from the factory sail at a really good price. The heavier cloth will hold its good shape much longer through the life of the sail. Includes one reef at 42" which is a standard first reef rather than the factory sail that had one very deep reef, essentially the second reef with the first reef missing. This gives you the ability to reef sooner and continue to sail comfortably and efficiently longer. Also includes jack lines and "dogbone" tack reef fittings for easier reefing. This sail has a loose foot, meaning that the sail is attached to the boom at the tack and with a single heavy outhaul slide. We have also eliminated the unnecessary bolt and foot rope to give better sail shape throughout the life of the sail.
This is a BWY Exclusive sail and is typically in our inventory and available to ship.

Standard equipment on 26M starting in mid 2007, replaces 3" x 5" mast on earlier 26M. All original hardware fits except mast base bottom and mast cap (order new style). Does not have sail feed slot cut or any holes drilled for hardware. If you are replacing an early style 5" mast, or if your mast is damaged badly enough that it is difficult to remove the foam you will need to order flotation foam for the new mast. Must be shipped motor freight, we will contact you with a shipping quote before processing your order. Mast packaging fee (wooden crate): $150 (Shown is fully rigged mast on Tattoo 26)
Select appropriate options if you'd like the mast drilled for hardware installation and/or notched for the sail feed slot.
We recommend buying a new mast foot plate with a new mast so we can drill the holes to match up correctly.

.75 oz NYLON / FULL RADIAL DESIGN, RED/WHITE/BLUE.
A full-radial sail pattern, very cool looking! The price is for the sail alone. You will need sheets, tack hardware, and halyard. We recommend raising your existing halyard if you have roller furling for you headsail, or installing a new halyard 16-24" above your current headstay. This allows the sail to fly with less interference with the headstay and headsail. On the 26M a bow sprit is a nice way to also get less interference with the headstay. Venture 24/224, Venture 25, MacGregor 25, 26C & 26D requires halyard to be raised 24" above headstay. See our Spinnaker Halyard Relocation Kit to raise the halyard. Part number #3807-1V4
Does not include sheets

STACKING MAINSAIL COVER, Nice way to handle your mainsail! This allows you to just lower the mainsail directly into the mainsail cover and zip the top closed. Lazy jacks contain the sail on the way down. Best to use along with halyards led aft.
The cover is bolt rope on the bottom which inserts into the boom, the sail becomes loose footed. This means that your mainsail will no longer be completely attached along the foot to the boom. The sail will be attached at the same forward attachment you now have and the Kit includes the outhaul slide you will need to attach at the aft end of the boom. Nicely contains your sail when the boom is removed for trailering. Kit includes two blocks for the mast and all lazy jack hardware.
This system requires a notch system in the mast for mainsail loading, this allows the sail to stack all the way down to the boom. If you have the spread mast and sail stop you will need to convert. To convert you will need to close the spread, cut in a notch and purchase a mast gate. To close the spread you will place a 2X4 on top of the spread section on the mast and pound with a hammer until flat.
This is a custom order, please specify the color you would like. Takes 2-6 weeks.
PLEASE CALL IF YOU'D LIKE A COLOR OTHER THAN BLACK. COLORS CAN BE FOUND ON THE SUNBRELLA CANVAS WEBSITE.

Hank-on / 5.0 High Modulus Dacron
We now have the first batch of these BWY exclusive sails in stock from our new supplier, they are even nicer than before and have more features. BETTER YET WE ARE HOLDING THE OLD PRICE AS AN INTRODUCTORY SPECIAL!!
A step up from our standard sails, made for more rugged use and longer life. This is a 150% Genoa, meaning that it overlapps the mast and has a longer foot than the jib. With reinforced corner rings, heavier corner and reef patches, and double stitching. Made with high quality 5 OZ High Modulus Dacron in a cross cut design. This sails feature all stainless steel corner rings hydraulically pressed into the sail as well as larger corner reinforcements. High quality bronze plunger style hanks are used to connect to the forestay. While slightly heavier and stiffer to handle than the factory sails, these sails will last much longer, perform better through a larger wind range (your boat will go faster and heel less), and hold their shape better in high winds than the factory sails so you won't have to reef or change down to a small headsail as often.
These sails feature a hydraulically pressed stainless steel ring
for the clew, and reinforced nylon webbing for the head and tack.
This is a BWY Exclusive sail, and is typically in our inventory and available to ship.

Roller Furling / 5.0 High Modulus Dacron / NO UV cover
The next step up from standard sails, made for more rugged use and longer life. This is a 150% Genoa, meaning that it overlaps the mast and has a longer foot than the jib. With reinforced corner rings, heavier corner and reef patches, and double stitching. This sail does not include a built in UV cover, we recommend you use our pull up sock type cover which provides both UV protection while moored and protection from dirt and abrasion while trailering. If you moor your boat full time and want the convenience of a built in UV cover we offer a version of this same sail with a built in UV cover. However a hoist up cover is still recommended for long tern mooring or trailering. (pictured is a factory sail, coming soon are actual pictures)
These sails feature a hydraulically pressed stainless steel ring
for the clew, and reinforced nylon webbing for the head and tack to allow a
strong but flexible connection to your furler.
This is a BWY Exclusive sail, and is typically in our inventory and available to ship.

This is a full set of 26M windows for a reduced price, this includes all side windows and the two top front windows. We recommend using a black silicone sealant for replacing the windows, you will need about 2 of the 10.6oz tubes. All windows dark smoke plex.
Windows are made to order, usually taking about a week before shipment. Please note that the shipping method, "next day", "2-day" etc only indicate transit time after the items are shipped, windows will always have some lead time before they're shipped.
Some of these pictures may not be for this boat, the picture of the faded window and the new one is just meant to illustrate the difference. We recommend replacing all the windows together at the same time.
|
We designed this tarp to be a heavy-duty, but still economical solution for covering your 26M in the off-season. It is custom cut and reinforced, made of 12-mil tarp material which much thicker than cheap hardware store tarps. It has grommets placed all around the key tie down points and comes with tennis balls (to cover the tops of your stanchions). This cover should last a lot longer than poorly fitted generic tarps.
|
Upgrade aluminum tanks designed specifically for the 26M. These tanks offer an increased range of about 40% over the standard factory 12 gallon tanks and have a mechanical fuel gauge on the top of the tank.
The Moeller LP12 tanks no longer fit, despite the dimensions seeming to be correct on the packaging. This is a known issue and we have yet to find one of the LP12s that will actually fit anymore.
The tanks will need to be grounded to the negative post on the battery. An optional ground wire kit is available. Optional fuel connectors are also available for Honda, Mercury, Johnson/Evinrude, Nissan/Tohatsu, Suzuki and Yamaha motors.
The optional gas tank hold down straps are part number 4004-1M0,
The tanks have a fixed shipping cost of $65 per tank anywhere in the contiguous US. Alaska, Hawaii and international shipping may be higher, we will contact you with current rates for those destinations when you place the order.
