This compass can be hand held, or installed in any inclination or position, vertical, horizontal, lying flat or even upside down. The Iris is a race course compass which can also be used to take hand bearings. Easily moved around the boat, it is simply clipped onto its smooth-edged bracket, which is designed not to catch sails or hurt fingers. This is a very nice upgrade. Will hold it's Prime. No need to keep pumping to get water every time. Fits in the original galley hole, but requires drilling new holes for the mounting screws (uses 2 screws instead of 3).

Edge molding for bulkheads, tables, window frames and other wood parts. This material is 5/8" wide and will need to be trimmed flush to the face of thinner parts (this is what Mac did in production) or it will extend past the surface of the wood it is trimming.
