We designed this tarp to be a heavy-duty, but still economical solution for covering your 26M in the off-season. It is custom cut and reinforced, made of 12-mil tarp material which much thicker than cheap hardware store tarps. It has grommets placed all around the key tie down points and comes with tennis balls (to cover the tops of your stanchions). This cover should last a lot longer than poorly fitted generic tarps.
|
Upgrade aluminum tanks designed specifically for the 26M. These tanks offer an increased range of about 40% over the standard factory 12 gallon tanks and have a mechanical fuel gauge on the top of the tank.
The Moeller LP12 tanks no longer fit, despite the dimensions seeming to be correct on the packaging. This is a known issue and we have yet to find one of the LP12s that will actually fit anymore.
The tanks will need to be grounded to the negative post on the battery. An optional ground wire kit is available. Optional fuel connectors are also available for Honda, Mercury, Johnson/Evinrude, Nissan/Tohatsu, Suzuki and Yamaha motors.
The optional gas tank hold down straps are part number 4004-1M0,
The tanks have a fixed shipping cost of $65 per tank anywhere in the contiguous US. Alaska, Hawaii and international shipping may be higher, we will contact you with current rates for those destinations when you place the order.

Side boarding ladder slides onto genoa tracks, easily moved from one side to the other by just sliding the ladder off and then onto the other track, or you can leave the brackets on the track and remove the ladder by pulling the quick pins. This is a nice addition to your 26M or 26X, this is very popular!
We will combine shipping when we can on this item but often times the ladder must ship separately due to its odd size/shape.
Starting April 2019 the step treads on the ladders are now a light grey, as seen in the last two photos. White step treads are not available right now. The pictures showing the white treads are just to illustrate the use of the ladder.
We sometimes run long back-orders on this item, up to about 6 weeks, so please order far ahead of time.

There are two sizes available for this cup holder. It can mount to any vertical rail or stanchion and can be used as a single drink holder, or it folds out for two! Easy to install and remove with just a screwdriver. The available rail sizes are 1" and 7/8". Most MacGregor Stanchions and 26M stern rail seats are 1" the Blue Water Yachts Pedestal Guards will be 7/8" except for the 26X Cockpit table which is 1". To be sure you need to measure the rail you want the cup holder to fit! Just put a tape measure behind it and look on both side to line it up, it should be easy to tell which you have.

Used for jib sheets or furling control line on most macgregors, not factory standard, will match factory mounting holes, but will not match cosmetically. Older boats used a variety of cleat styles, to match 1995 and newer boats exactly, use part # 4202-1V0. These cam cleats hold lines securely and release instantly for easy, precise trimming. Multiple rows of high-load ball bearings to reduce friction and V-shaped line entry allow cams to open easily for snap-down, rather than draw-through, cleating.

This replaces the 3/8" bolt at the mast base with a pin without any threads. This makes it slide in and out much easier. One end of the pin has a ring welded on it and the other has an easy to remove split pin. On the 26M we occasionally find rough spots inside the mast base plate tube that will need to be filed down with a round file to use this pin.

This wine glass holder can mount to any vertical rail or stanchion. Easy to install by snapping it on and off the rail, or install with the supplied retainer hoop for a more permanent mounting. The available rail
sizes are 1" and 7/8". Most MacGregor Stanchions and 26M stern rail
seats are 1" the Blue Water Yachts Pedestal Guards will be 7/8" except
for the 26X Cockpit table which is 1". To be sure you need to measure

This is a much easier and less frustrating pin to use for attaching the headstay (or furler) to the bow chain plate. It is 1 1/2" long and has about a 1" head, so it is easy to hold/handle. Some headstay turnbuckles have a metric hole (6mm) which will need to drilled out just a little to 1/4" size, this takes just a minute. NEVER USE A STRAIGHT QUICK PIN OR "BALL LOCK" TYPE PIN ON YOUR HEADSTAY. THEY WILL FALL OUT AND YOUR MAST WILL COME DOWN!!

This all stainless steel locking pin allows for an easier solution than the 1/4" bolt that held the boom to the gooseneck, or the bolt that holds the mainsail into the tack bracket.
Depending on your mainsail tack configuration it can be used in two different ways:
If your mainsail tack attaches to a "U" shaped bracket on top of the bolt that holds the gooseneck tube to the mast bracket then you can use this as the tack pin that goes horizontally through the "U" bracket. In this configuration it will not work to replace the vertical bolt through the mast bracket as the sail pulls upward on that bolt.
If your mainsail tack attaches to the front end of the boom using a clevis pin through the sail track (the way most MacGregors should be if rigged they have had slides added to a factory mainsail) then you can use this pin to replace the vertical bolt that attaches the gooseneck tube to the mast bracket making it really quick and easy to remove the boom.
|
Replace canvas attachment screws with this easy to remove quick pin. 1/4" diameter x 1" length. The canvas mounting "feet" will need to be drilled out to 17/64" to use these pins. Do not use for rigging or forestay pin.

A fully equipped MacGregor can easily become a project to rig if you don't have your boat set up properly for easy rigging. This kit can cut rigging time in half for some boats, and reduces frustration levels by more than that!
Below is our recommendation for what we would put in a complete quick rig kit, but you can customize it however you want. - 4 stainless steel snap shackles to add to the bottom of your mainsheet, boom vang, and mast raising kit, as well as on your jib halyard where it attaches to the top of the mast raising pole. We recommend 1 swivel snap shackle and 3 fixed. - 2 easy to hold headstay pins (yes, you even get a spare) so that you don't have to struggle with the tiny clevis pin to attach your headstay to the bow. A word of warning: NEVER use a quick release or ball-lock pin for your headstay! They WILL fall out causing your mast to fall! - 8 1/4" x 1" quick pins. These are great replacements for the screws at the mounting bases for dodgers and biminis, as well as lots of other applications for 1/4" bolts. A bimini will require 2 quick pins and a dodger will require 6. - A pelican hook for your Starboard forward lifeline. This allows you to release your lifeline quickly and easily while trailering so that you don't need to tuck the spreaders under the lifelines. You will have to borrow a heavy duty Nicopress tool to crimp these, or you can send your lifelines to us and we can do it for you.
- 2 mast base quick pins. These take the place of the 4" or 4 1/2" bolts that secure the mast base plate to the deck plate, or the mast to the deck plate depending on which boat you have. You can put away the 9/16" wrenches if you get one of these, no more struggling with those nylock nuts and bolts. We recommend 2 just because it's nice to have a spare.
