STRONGER, MORE DURABLE, AND NO TOOLS TO INSTALL THE BOOM!

This upgraded gooseneck mast assembly offers several major improvements over the standard part.
1) The larger footprint on the mast eliminates any issues of rivets working loose.
2) The lower flange (below the gooseneck tube) is reinforced to prevent bending under load.
3) The lower flange has a nut welded to it and the tack bracket has a bolt welded to it, this allows the boom to be installed and removed with no tools needed. You simply put the gooseneck tube in place and spin the tack bracket on by hand, when you attach the mainsail to the tack bracket it cannot unscrew itself.
4) Uses new mounting holes, no issues with damaged or mis-aligned holes.

This version fits ONLY the 26M with the newer style mast, generally 2008 and newer. For all other models use part #3408-1V4.
