- Designed for the club racer, MLX3 is a double braid construction that incorporates a first-of-its-kind core with a polyester cover.
The unique core is a blend of an exclusive fiber, Innegra™-S, a high modulus polypropylene (HMPP), and Dyneema®, a high modulus polyethylene (HMPE).
MLX3 is a lightweight core-dependent line that has high strength and low stretch.
The core is Samthane™ coated to match the color of the cover, making the line strippable for greater weight savings.
The Samthane coating is abrasion resistant, and has different formulations for specific rope fiber types.
It adds firmness, greatly improves wear life, and also reduces cutting and snagging, and resists contamination.
