Used on the 26M, 2007 and newer masts with a cut out notch for loading the mainsail instead of the spread opening. Not for a mast with a spread opening for sail feed. This allows the sail slides to go all the way down to the boom when lowered, no need for reefing without jack lines and makes the sail stack smaller.
