Jib halyard block. This style came standard starting in the early 2000's and is a nice upgrade for the aluminum block on older boats. The jib halyard became optional in 2008 when MacGregor changed to their own roller furling system. This block is not compatible with the furler made by MacGregor. Also used to add an optional spinnaker halyard above the headstay attachment point.
