Made with 1/8-1x19 Stainless Steel wire. There were several different lengths used on the 26C,we strongly recommend that you send in your old forestay so we know you are getting the carrect replacement. These headstays are made with right hand thread for the turnbuckle. You may need to purchase a new turnbuckle for the new headstay as the old headstay you have could have been made with left hand threads.
