Not recommended to use hand crimp tools on these sliders. A secure crimp needs to be attained or there are risks to damage of your mast.
These were standard equipment on all MacGregor boats, used as the upper half of the sliding adjuster for the side stays. This part is permanently built onto the end of all side stays and backstays.
