These are a direct replacement for the end caps on the MacGregor factory Bimini and can be used to replace the internal end fittings on BWY Biminis and Dodgers without needing any tools except a 1/8" allen wrench.  If you have internal fittings now and just the tip broke off, you may have to trim the remains of the old eye down to be fairly flush with the end of the tube.
