MAST RAISING SYSTEM, CURRENT WITH WINCH FOR ALL BUT 26M MAST RAISING SYSTEM, WINCH STYLE RETROFIT KIT EXTENDED LIFELINES
EXTENDED LIFELINES
Our Price: $119.00

This is the newer winch style mast raising system for use on all MacGregor and Venture boats except the 26M. This system can be used if you don't have a mast raiser at all or if you want to update a block and tackle style system to the newer winch style.

Most boats will need some additional hardware, especially if you don't have any mast raiser at all now. Be sure to read the "Extended Information" section before you order! If the wrong parts are ordered from the drop-down options the customer will be responsible for return shipping charges and the shipping of the correct parts.

If you have an existing block and tackle style mast raiser and want to upgrade to the winch style, order our retrofit kit, part #3464-1V4

This system is very specific to the MacGregor Mast and MacGregor hardware and is not sold for or intended to be used on other brands of boats.

This kit includes all the parts you will need to convert an existing block and tackle style mast raiser to the newer winch style. You will need a good mast raising pole with all of its standard hardware and your existing side support wire assemblies to make this kit work. If you do not have a good pole order the complete kit, part #3418-1M0 for the 26M or #3418-1V0 for all other MacGregor or Venture boats.

Installation of this kit requires that you drill 2 new holes in the mast raising pole to mount the winch and 1 hole in the mast for the mast raising bail.

This kit allows you to extend the lifelines to attach to your stern railing. The Vinyl coated stainless steel lifelines have solid stainless gate hooks for easy boarding from docks.

This package does require a "Nicopress" swaging tool and a cable cutter for installation. Most marine supply stores loan or rent professional tools.

Vent Kit, Aft Locker, 26 Classic DRINK HOLDER, CONVERTIBLE SINGLE OR DOUBLE CLEAT, CAM, HARKEN CARBO-CAM BALL BEARING

This kit is to ventilate your aft locker, recommended if you have your fuel tanks located there. For the 26 Classic, this kit includes all you will to do this job!

Includes 2 vents, 1 hose, and mounting screws

There are two sizes available for this cup holder. It can mount to any vertical rail or stanchion and can be used as a single drink holder, or it folds out for two! Easy to install and remove with just a screwdriver.  The available rail sizes are 1" and 7/8".  Most MacGregor Stanchions and 26M stern rail seats are 1" the Blue Water Yachts Pedestal Guards will be 7/8" except for the 26X Cockpit table which is 1".  To be sure you need to measure the rail you want the cup holder to fit!  Just put a tape measure behind it and look on both side to line it up, it should be easy to tell which you have.
Used for jib sheets or furling control line on most macgregors, not factory standard, will match factory mounting holes, but will not match cosmetically. Older boats used a variety of cleat styles, to match 1995 and newer boats exactly, use part # 4202-1V0. These cam cleats hold lines securely and release instantly for easy, precise trimming. Multiple rows of high-load ball bearings to reduce friction and V-shaped line entry allow cams to open easily for snap-down, rather than draw-through, cleating.

WINE GLASS HOLDER

USCG Approved Type III PFD
• Durable nylon outer shell; poly-twill inner • Adjustable belts and chest strap to keep vest from riding up • Lightweight, durable flotation foam • Open-sided styling

This replaces the 3/8" bolt at the mast base with a pin without any threads. This makes it slide in and out much easier. One end of the pin has a ring welded on it and the other has an easy to remove split pin. On the 26M we occasionally find rough spots inside the mast base plate tube that will need to be filed down with a round file to use this pin.

This wine glass holder can mount to any vertical rail or stanchion. Easy to install by snapping it on and off the rail, or install with the supplied retainer hoop for a more permanent mounting.
BOW PIN Gift Certificate QUICK RIG KIT - CUSTOM
BOW PIN
Our Price: $8.00

This is a much easier and less frustrating pin to use for attaching the headstay (or furler) to the bow chain plate. It is 1 1/2" long and has about a 1" head, so it is easy to hold/handle. Some headstay turnbuckles have a metric hole (6mm) which will need to drilled out just a little to 1/4" size, this takes just a minute. NEVER USE A STRAIGHT QUICK PIN OR "BALL LOCK" TYPE PIN ON YOUR HEADSTAY. THEY WILL FALL OUT AND YOUR MAST WILL COME DOWN!!

Not sure what MacGregor parts to get for someone? Give the open ended gift of a Blue Water Yachts gift certificate. They never expire and are good for anything in our online store! Let us know how much you would like for your certificate and we can make it out for any price.

A fully equipped MacGregor can easily become a project to rig if you don't have your boat set up properly for easy rigging. This kit can cut rigging time in half for some boats, and reduces frustration levels by more than that!

Below is our recommendation for what we would put in a complete quick rig kit, but you can customize it however you want.

- 4 stainless steel snap shackles to add to the bottom of your mainsheet, boom vang, and mast raising kit, as well as on your jib halyard where it attaches to the top of the mast raising pole. We recommend 1 swivel snap shackle and 3 fixed.

- 2 easy to hold headstay pins (yes, you even get a spare) so that you don't have to struggle with the tiny clevis pin to attach your headstay to the bow. A word of warning: NEVER use a quick release or ball-lock pin for your headstay! They WILL fall out causing your mast to fall!

- 8 1/4" x 1" quick pins. These are great replacements for the screws at the mounting bases for dodgers and biminis, as well as lots of other applications for 1/4" bolts. A bimini will require 2 quick pins and a dodger will require 6.

- A pelican hook for your Starboard forward lifeline. This allows you to release your lifeline quickly and easily while trailering so that you don't need to tuck the spreaders under the lifelines. You will have to borrow a heavy duty Nicopress tool to crimp these, or you can send your lifelines to us and we can do it for you.

-
2 mast base quick pins. These take the place of the 4" or 4 1/2" bolts that secure the mast base plate to the deck plate, or the mast to the deck plate depending on which boat you have. You can put away the 9/16" wrenches if you get one of these, no more struggling with those nylock nuts and bolts. We recommend 2 just because it's nice to have a spare.
