ROLLER FURLING, CDI

Standard equipment on 26M starting in mid 2007, replaces 3" x 5" mast on earlier 26M. All original hardware fits except mast base bottom and mast cap (order new style). Does not have sail feed slot cut or any holes drilled for hardware. If you are replacing an early style 5" mast, or if your mast is damaged badly enough that it is difficult to remove the foam you will need to order flotation foam for the new mast. Must be shipped motor freight, we will contact you with a shipping quote before processing your order. Mast packaging fee (wooden crate): $100 (Shown is fully rigged mast on Tattoo 26)

Select appropriate options if you'd like the mast drilled for hardware installation and/or notched for the sail feed slot.

We recommend buying a new mast foot plate with a new mast so we can drill the holes to match up correctly.
This is the complete roller fuling system for all Macgregor models. You will also need the deck hardware to lead the control line to the cockpit and a headstay compatible with the furler. We can provide you with both. Your headstay must have a standard turnbuckle at the bottom and a swaged threaded stud on the bottom end, not a loop. The luff is not returnable.
The original boom extrusion is no longer available, this package uses the larger and stronger extrusion also used for the mast on all boats before 2003. We cannot assemble any hardware on the boom before shipping it, as it would not fit in the tube that we use for packaging. This is a complete boom assembly including all factory original hardware redesigned where needed to fit the new larger extrusion.  Does not have any optional hardware such as single line reefing, boom vang bail, or custom outhaul. These kits are available seperately.  Must be shipped motor freight, expect high shipping charges and a $30 special packaging fee.
Stock system for 2005 and newer 26M. Can be retrofitted to 2003 and 2004 26Ms. For any boats other than 26M, please use part #3418-1V0 found here. Please provide a hull ID# in the "comments" section when placing an order. Because of liability we cannot sell this kit for anything that is not a MacGregor or Venture boat.

Fits all boats except V24 and V224 which had an 11' boom,  we can offer this length.  This will need to be cut to length for all models 17' thru 24'.  Must be shipped motor freight, expect high shipping charges and a $30 special packaging fee. We are using the same section as the mast, this will require that you also replace your boom end caps with the new part, boom end cap large. BOOM VANG KIT, LED AFT

THIS LUFF FITS THE CDI UNIT ONLY.  This is the plastic headfoil for the CDI, Cruising Design, roller furling units.  This plastic luff is what the headsail rolls up onto, the headstay is inside.  Has two groves, one on each side, for sail.  Luff is not returnable.

This kit includes all of the hardware required to bring your main and headsail halyards back to the cockpit. This allows you to raise or lower your sails without going forward to the mast. Use one for the mainsail halyard, the second one for the jib, spinnaker halyard, or jib sock. If you choose the third rope clutch option you can use it for the daggerboard. The daggerboard is heavy and awkward to pull up, this makes raising it much easier. Unlike many kits, we use rope clutches to secure the tension on the halyards to assure a safe and positive lock that is easily adjustable. The kit comes with stainless hardware and Spinlock PXR rope clutches.

Includes all the blocks, line and hardware you will need to install a Boom Vang with the line led aft on your 26M. Nothing gives more performance gain per dollar spent than a boom Vang! You MUST have our halyards led aft kit for this to work correctly, part number 3116-1V0. This kit also includes the replacement Tattoo 26 style mast base angle brackets, a block to attach to the bracket, and a block to lead the vang line to the bracket block. This kit is an upgrade over the standard boom vang because it allows you to run the line neatly down the side of the boat to a rope clutch by the cockpit, instead of using the block mounted cam-cleat and letting the line run wild on the sliding hatch cover.

Includes the pivoting spreader socket assembly and the bracket that bolts it to the mast. Complete Mainsheet set for 26M (and 26X and 26C) Includes both blocks, Mainsheet line and the proper boom bail for your boat. Shown are the boom bail styles, round or square, you can specify.

You can also add the optional snap-hook. This will replace the bottom block with the one that has a snap-hook on it. This makes detaching the mainsheet much quicker and easier.

SINGLE LINE REEFING KIT

This beautiful polished stainless ball bearing 4:1 block set can be used for the mainsheet or vang. Their low friction greatly reduces the load when sheeting in the mainsail and allows the boom to go out without help in light wind.  A really nice upgrade both functionally and esthetically.  The ball bearings surround a ring that appears as a hole so we call them air blocks. Replacement winch for new style mast raiser. This kit modifies the boom so you can reef the sail from the cockpit. Your mainsail must have slides and jacklines, or slides and a mast gate cover to work properly. With just slides and no jacklines or mast gate cover, you will need to remove 1 or 2 slides from the mast to reef. Works great with your halyards led aft to the cockpit. An easy way to update your old roller boom to a more modern system.

This block is normally used as lower end of mainsheet block.  Just like the stock block but has a snap shackle for easy removal. 1x19-5/32 IN wire. Fits 2007 and newer boats with MacGregor built Roller Furling system or with hank-on sails and headstay with no turnbuckle. Does not include the heavy stainless steel "U" bracket at the lower end of the hank on sail forestay. If needed order it seperately.

The second picture is of the MacGregor Factory made roller furling unit. Be sure you have this one and not CDI or any other brand.
This is an upgraded wire, the same thickness as the side shrouds. We recommend using this if you usually keep the mast up on your boat.

This is an upgraded wire, the same thickness as the side shrouds. We recommend using this if you usually keep the mast up on your boat.
Aluminum pole only, no winch or hardware.  Fits all boats with mast raising system except very late model M25 and very early 26C, which had a 9' pole. THIS POLE IS no longer available.  These boats should be converted to the new 6' pole. Mast Raising System poles may not be available. Call for information. Ships by itself. Used as the bottom of the mainsheet set on all boats since 1987 and the bottom of the boom vang on all boats.  Has becket and cam cleat. Lower part of mast base assembly (the part with the tube at the aft end that the hinge bolt goes through).  Bolts to the mast base bottom (the part that bolts to the mast itself).
FURLER CONTROL KIT

1x19-1/8 IN wire. Fits 2007 and newer boats with MacGregor built Roller Furling system or with hank-on sails and headstay with no turnbuckle. Does not include the heavy stainless steel "U" bracket at the lower end of the hank on sail forestay. If needed order it seperately.

Kit for cleanly running your roller furling line back to the cockpit. Includes 45' 3/16" line, four fairleads (like the two shown),  and a cam cleat to mount on top of the deck. Hardware will depend on which boat you have, please let us know the year of your boat. The CDI Roller Furling Kit does not include this.  But, if you are adding roller furling to your boat to be able to control the furling from the cockpit is a must!
STAY, UPPER SHROUD, 26M

Thin & soft at the forward end, these help keep the sail from "folding" at the front end of the batten.  Improves sail performance, especially in older sails.  Must use as a set.  A nice improvement for not much more money.  Fits all 26M models with stock mainsail. Current style used on the 26M.  Boats older than 1997 need to update to new boom  end cap (3405-113) also. 5/32nd 1X19 stainless steel wire with a straight tang on top and a male stay adjuster at the bottom. Early boats had no tang at the top of the stay, just a loop. These replacement stays with the tang will work on all boats except the early 2003 boats with 40" spreaders. If your boat is a 2003, please measure the overall length of the spreaders, they will be 40" or 44" let us know if the are 40" so we can shorten the stays.

Direct replacements for the stock battens.  Fits 26M only.  If your sail has been replaced or modified it may be different, be sure to check. The part of the mast base assembly that bolts to the mast itself.  Fits 4" x 4.5" mast which went into production mid 2007.  If replacing early style mast with new, this part must be replaced.
