Simply the best for cruising or racing. Cruise Laminate Cloth with a tri radial design for added strength, and a really cool look! This sail has custom tapered full battens. This is a sail that weighs and handles about the same as the 5.5 oz sail but is stronger and more durable than the 7 oz sail. This premium fabric is made from 5 layers of material and is laminated together. The inner layer is a scrim made of small bundles of fiber with spaces between the bundles. This is then covered on both sides with a layer of mylar plastic film, the mylar is then covered on both sides by a thin layer of woven dacron. This construction creates a fabric that has the strength and shape stability of a high end racing sail combined with the durability of a cruising sail. This is a custom product which typically takes 2-4 weeks in the off-season and up to 6 weeks during our busy season.

High performance sails taking advantage of 26M backstayless design. Flat top for more power and 5 full battens for better shape. This is a loose foot sail, meaning that the shape is carried all the way to the boom. The foot of the sail does not have a bolt rope to be inserted into the boom. The luff of the sail, where the sail slides are attached, also does not have bolt rope, this provides better sail shape well into the life of the sail.

The picture shows the upgrade to the snap style brass Hank to attach to your headstay, this option is an additional $100. Standard will be the push on Hank. The next step up from standard sails, made for more rugged use and longer life. With reinforced corner rings, heavier corner and reef patches, and double stitching. This sail includes a built in UV cover for added convenience on boats that are permanently or frequently moored in the water. We offer this option for those of you who really want a colored UV cover although we prefer the white acrylic UV cover. Acrylic covers are very heavy and change shape differently than the rest of the sail over time so you end up with an intact UV strip that has ruined the shape of an otherwise healthy sail. If you mostly trailer your boat we recommend you purchase the version of this sail that comes without a UV cover and use our pull up sock type cover which provides both UV protection while moored and protection from dirt and abrasion while trailering, this gives you the best protection and the best sailing performance.
Roller Furling / 5.0 Dacron / White UV cover

Genoa, 150% sail overlapping the mast. Upgraded Genoa sail from the standard factory made sail, this sail is made for more rugged use and longer life, with reinforced corner rings, heavier corner and reef patches, and double stitching. This sail includes a built in white UV cover for added convenience on boats that are permanently or frequently moored in the water. We use a white UV resistant Dacron for the cover, this material provides excellent UV protection but does not add as much weight to the sail as an acrylic (Sunbrella) cover. Acrylic covers are very heavy and change shape differently than the rest of the sail over time so you end up with an intact UV strip that has ruined the shape of an otherwise healthy sail. If you mostly trailer your boat we recommend you purchase the version of this sail that comes without a UV cover and use our pull up sock type cover which provides both UV protection while moored and protection from dirt and abrasion while trailering, this gives you the best protection and the best sailing performance. A sock type cover is recommended to cover this sail even though it has a UV cover in areas with lots of sun or if the sail is rolled for long periods.

High performance Macgregor 26M rudder blades feature a foiled design to improve the boat's handling while under sail. Improvements include reduced helm effort, better pointing, improved tacking in light air and improved downwind speed. This pricing is for a rudder pair.

Our most popular option, and a big upgrade from the economy sail at a really good price. The heavier cloth will hold its good shape much longer through the life of the sail. Includes the one reef at the 42" point which is lower than the standard factory reef. This gives you the ability to reef sooner and continue to sail longer. Also includes the jack lines. This is loose foot, meaning that the sail is attached to the boom at the tack and the outhaul. There is an outhaul slide. The economy sail has no reef point, and is lighter weight.

This is a BWY Exclusive sail, and is typically in our inventory and available to ship.

Standard equipment on 26M starting in mid 2007, replaces 3" x 5" mast on earlier 26M. All original hardware fits except mast base bottom and mast cap (order new style). Does not have sail feed slot cut or any holes drilled for hardware. If you are replacing an early style 5" mast, or if your mast is damaged badly enough that it is difficult to remove the foam you will need to order flotation foam for the new mast. Must be shipped motor freight, we will contact you with a shipping quote before processing your order. Mast packaging fee (wooden crate): $100 (Shown is fully rigged mast on Tattoo 26)

Select appropriate options if you'd like the mast drilled for hardware installation and/or notched for the sail feed slot.

We recommend buying a new mast foot plate with a new mast so we can drill the holes to match up correctly.
Nylite 90 / Tri-radial sail, red/white/blue.

This picture shows the color but this is not a tri-radial sail, picture coming soon! A tri-radial sail pattern is a three point star. Very cool looking! The price is for the sail alone. You will need sheets, tack hardware, and halyard. We recommend raising your hayard, installing a new halyard tang and block, 16-24" above your current headstay. This allows the sail to fly with less interference with the headstay and headsail. On the 26M a bow sprit is a nice way to also get less interference with the headstay.
Venture 24/224, Venture 25, MacGregor 25, 26C & 26D requires halyard to be raised 24" above headstay. See our Spinnaker Halyard Relocation Kit to raise the halyard. Part number #3807-1V4

Stainless Stern Rail Seats designed by BWY to fit on the 26M. Does not fit any other boat. This extends the cockpit seating area. Recommended to use at dock, or while sailing at low speeds. Do not sit in while the boat is motoring at high speeds. Nice place to add a BBQ mount on one of the rails, or a cup holder. These are sold as a pair with all installation hardware included.

Sunbrella cloth with clear vinyl windows, rear window set for the full enclosure. This is a 3 piece set. Requires BWY Dodger, Large Bimini (for the M you must also have the stern rail seats), and the mid connecting top. Add the mid connector windows and side windows to make the full enclosure. Center of the rear set zips out or rolls up for ventilation and easy access to the engine and swim ladder. Rear corner sections are cut to fit around the BWY stern rail seats and will be very baggy if your boat does not have the seats. Standard color black, Cadet Grey, Ocean Blue, and Pacific Blue other colors available but non-refundable. Canvas orders may take 2-3 weeks to have them made.

This is the only bimini that will work with our full enclosure! If you already have a bimini, before ordering the full enclosure, check to be sure that you have 3 zippers in the back of the bimini, and that the legs attach to the stern rail seats. If not, then call or send us pictures of what you have.

No Reef Point / 4.0 Dacron / Standard Battens

This is the least expensive way to get back on the water quickly. This sail has sail slides, no reef points, and standard battens. It is a light weight sail but will get you going and keep you sailing for a season or two.

STACKING MAINSAIL COVER,

Nice way to handle your mainsail! This allows you to just lower the mainsail directly into the mainsail cover and zip the top closed. Lazy jacks contain the sail on the way down. Best to use along with halyards led aft.

The cover is bolt rope on the bottom which inserts into the boom, the sail becomes loose footed. This means that your mainsail will no longer be completely attached along the foot to the boom. The sail will be attached at the same forward attachment you now have and the Kit includes the outhaul slide you will need to attach at the aft end of the boom. Nicely contains your sail when the boom is removed for trailering. Kit includes two blocks for the mast and all lazy jack hardware.

This system requires a notch system in the mast for mainsail loading, this allows the sail to stack all the way down to the boom. If you have the spread mast and sail stop you will need to convert. To convert you will need to close the spread, cut in a notch and purchase a mast gate. To close the spread you will place a 2X4 on top of the spread section on the mast and pound with a hammer until flat.

This is a custom order, please specify the color you would like. Takes 2-3 weeks. Sample colors of blue are available, we can just mail these to you.

This is the complete roller furling system for all MacGregor models. You will also need the deck hardware to lead the control line to the cockpit and a headstay compatible with the furler. We can provide you with both. Your headstay must have a standard turnbuckle at the bottom and a swaged threaded stud on the bottom end, not a loop. The luff is not returnable.

You also may be interested in the ball bearing upgrade for the furling drum. This is a replacement metal ball bearing. ALthough it's not a night and day" difference between the standard bearing and the ball bearing it is a nice upgrade and truly the only way to get maximum performance and ease of use out of the CDI flexible furler system.

The next step up from standard sails, made for more rugged use and longer life. This is a 150% Genoa, meaning that it overlapps the mast and has a longer foot than the jib. With reinforced corner rings, heavier corner and reef patches, and double stitching. This sail does not include a built in UV cover, we recommend you use our pull up sock type cover which provides both UV protection while moored and protection from dirt and abrasion while trailering. If you moor your boat full time and want the convenience of a built in UV cover we offer a version of this same sail with a built in UV cover. However a hoist up cover is still recommended for long tern mooring or trailering.

5.5 Oz High Modulus Dacron, #6 Luff tape, White UV Cover

An upgrade from the standard factory sail! Reasonably priced but made with high quality 5.5 oz Dacron in a cross cut design. These sails feature all stainless steel corner rings hydraulically pressed into the sail as well as larger corner reinforcements than the factory sails. While slightly heavier and stiffer to handle than the factory sails, this sail will last much longer, perform better through a larger wind range (your boat will go faster and heel less), and will hold their shape better in light winds. You won't have to reef as often as with the standard factory sail.

The #6 luff tape on this sail fits most furling units (call us if you have Schaefer Snapfurl).

Express or international shipping can be expensive, email for a shipping quote. Domestic shipping is a flat rate of $65 shown at checkout. If for some reason the shipping amount is calculated less than $65 we will have to adjust it accordingly.

The standard daggerboard is painted with a satin-finish rolled on grey barrier coat. This acts as a primer for anti-fouling bottom paint, the epoxy finish can be left bare or is ready for anti fouling bottom paint if you moor your boat in the water.

This daggerboard is also available with a white gelcoated and polished finish instead of the grey barrier coat. The smoother board is more performance oriented and does not need any additional preparation or painting, it arrives ready to go.
Sunbrella canvas and aluminum frame. This Sport Bimini is smaller for 26M boats that do not have the stern rail seats. Will not work as part of the full enclosure. Order #2201-1M0 Bimini if you want to someday have the full enclosure. Frame must be split for shipping, additional $50 fee. This is a full set of 26M windows for a reduced price, this includes all side windows and the two top front windows.
We recommend using a black silicone sealant for replacing the windows, you will need about 2 of the 10.6oz tubes. All windows dark smoke plex.

Some of these pictures may not be for this boat, the picture of the faded window and the new one is just meant to illustrate the difference. We recommend replacing all the windows together at the same time.
